The Diependaalsekerk is located exactly in the axis of the Elzenlaan. The basic form of the facade consists of an equilateral triangle and is articulated by subtle offsets in the masonry surfaces and variation in the masonry bonds. The tower with tent roof has an extremely important orientation function in the southern part of Hilversum. Despite the decorative elements in the masonry, the church has a austere structure, which is characteristic of Protestant church building in that period. Due to the height of the tower rising from the equilateral triangle, a number of GSM antennas have been installed, which detract from the profile of the tower.
