Surrounded by a large park, the three-aisled church stands in the middle of middle-class houses. Partly due to the robust construction, the church forms an accent in the neighbourhood, although there is no question of an urban design pattern. The harmonious combination of Gothic and Romanesque style elements places the church under the architecture of the Delft School of M.J. Granpré Molière.
