The three-aisled cruciform basilica with a crossing dome and the rectory are of great rarity, due to their neo-Baroque design. The church stands on a high plastered plinth zone. The striking column front, in two zones, is crowned by a tympanum. The triglyphs of the cornice also serve as consoles under the pediment. The Christ statue was made by S. Miedema. After a fire in 1958, the impressive interior was restored.
