Spoorstraat 65b / Biersteeg 17, Hilversum

K. van Velsen’s modern home furnishing shop from 1982 is situated in the middle of traditional village buildings. Essential elements in the design are the incidence of light and the solutions for the traffic areas, but also the fair use of materials such as steel and glass. The steel is presented as a constructive material.
