During the construction of the Nimrod Park, the toll for the ‘s-Gravelandseweg was moved from the Trompenberg area to a point northwest of the Nimrod Park. In 1900 a toll house was built close to the road. The simple toll house, in the traditional style, has surprising details such as carved consoles on which the roof molding rests, pilasters with bosses and arched fields, filled with red and yellow bricks.
