3D printing with Dudok program for group 8

Working together with the Local Library we offer a guided tour of the Town Hall combined with the opportunity to do some 3D printing. Each year we are able to make contact with approximately 300 students (final year, primary school) through this programme. The students are able to view Dudok’s architecture and the shape of his buildings with a new insight. Additionally they get to learn how to convert this new knowledge into a 3D drawing using Tinkercad. They design their own ‘Dudok Building’. Six of these designs are then printed using the 3D printer. During the printing process, the DAC hosts a tour of Hilversum Town Hall offering the opportunity to delve deeper into Dudok’s designs.
