Garden City Buitenveldert was intended for luxury housing. Along the Van Nijenrodeweg, Dudok and Magnée designed three high 8-storey flats that were placed as a long wall along the road. The flats were intended for the higher segment. The projecting dark elevator shafts and the striking yellow bricks enliven the strictly rhythmically arranged facade on the street side.
