Dudok designed the expansion plans for the Moerwijk and Morgenstond neighboorhoods of The Hague between 1947 and 1949. Two organizing systemd define the plan. The strict grid of roads flanked by elongated building blocks functions on the scale of the city, while the much more informal green structure connects these neigbourhoods with the landscape.
