Multatulischool

The former Multatuli School, opened in 1932, is located opposite Instituut Beeld en Geluid, just outside the Mediapark in Hilversum-Noord. It is one of the most famous schools designed by Dudok. The building was thoroughly renovated and restored to its original colors in 1996.
The characteristic school consists of two storeys under a gently sloping, protruding tiled roof. The gymnasium is housed in a lower building section, which is turned in relation to the other buildings.
The entrance is formed by a porch with a canopy and a high chimney that is so characteristic of Dudok. The school is used as the Reformed primary school De Wegwijzer.
