‘s-Gravelandseweg 88, Hilversum

The park flats Quatre Bras in Hilversum (1954-1955) are a recognizable part of Dudok’s postwar collection of luxury high-rise buildings. Here too, we see loosely placed building blocks, a light greyish-yellow brick, large roof overhangs, elegant entrances and attention to the privacey of the outdoor space, which led to unusual balcony shapes.
