The Rembrandt School (1917-1920) in Hilversum was designed for a MULO (more advanced primary education) and a Trade School. They each had their own entrance with a staircase. It is now a primary school. The building is situated in the middle of a villa neighbourhood and distinguishes itself by its freestanding location on the plot, the rhythmic build-up of volumes and the flat roofs.
