Michiel de Klerk built this house in the style of the Amsterdam School with a symmetrical diamond-shaped floor plan. With the curved wall sections, the roof shape and the original distribution of bars, it is recognizable as a design by De Klerk. In the beginning, people had difficulty with this new architectural style in the ensemble.
