This country house takes its name from the draped thatched roof with a strongly sloping ridgeline. Architect Dullaart applied characteristic round shapes of the Amsterdam School in the wall dams and the window frames of this house. The combination of an expressive sculpted thatched roof and Amsterdam School elements is called the Gooise country house style.
