Former Fashion house Voss

In 1963, Dudoks partner Magnée built the shop for the famous Voss Fashion House on the same square where Dudok’s C&A building was located. The fashion house is regularly attributed to Dudok, but it is said that this was his own design by his partner Magnée. It became a large shop building, with flat, ornamental facades, originally made of white marble. In later years, the (renewed) windows on the floors were fitted with long vertical bars. The property will be repurposed into an apartment complex in 2021-2022, with the existing facade being completely replaced.
