Houtman’s farm has a luxurious finish, a large bell gable with a classical arch-shaped pediment as a conclusion. The facade has a symmetrical layout. The name Houtman refers to the family that had a carpenter’s workshop in the yard of the farm for many years. After the restoration, the former farm serves as a shop. There are two houses in the hood. The new construction in the area gives the building an isolated position. The historic building is still related to the historic neighborhood on the other side.
