London (1872-1953) built this symmetrical villa in a rich, almost baroque, neoclassical style. The high hipped roof with sheer and far overhanging eaves is covered with slate tiles. The large reservoirs for the rainwater are decorative, Festoons and Iconic capitals adorn the facades. The interiors have also been preserved in their original state. Fluted pilasters and columns, a stucco ceiling with cherubs and the large stained-glass window depicting ships are just a few of the elements. This villa was the official residence of the mayor of Hellenberg Hubar.
