18th Municipal Housing Development

The 18th municipal housing complex with 36 homes was built between 1931 and 1935. At the corners of each block, Dudok placed homes at right angles to the others. Two long residential blocks on Jupiterstraat, whose sloping tiled roof already starts on the first floor, are interrupted in the middle by a single house whose front facade extends up to the second floor.

De website dudok.org is een initiatief van enkele bewonderaars van het werk van Willem Marinus Dudok. De site bevat vooral veel beeldmateriaal van alle ontwerpen van Dudok die ooit zijn gebouwd. Het Dudok Architectuur Centrum en dudok.org werken op onafhankelijke basis samen door beeldmateriaal en informatie met elkaar te delen en incidenteel samen te werken aan projecten.
