In a time when showers in working-class houses were rare, bathhouses in working-class neighborhoods were of great importance. In 1920 Dudok designed the bathhouse along the Bosdrift as an entrance to the 4th municipal housing complex. The strictly symmetrical bathhouse, which is built entirely of brick, currently houses two houses.
