Former C&A Retail building

Kerkstraat 84, Hilversum

One of the most beautiful post-war shopping buildings in the Hilversum town centre is the one Dudok designed for fashion chain C&A in 196. It is prominently located on a small square where four streets converge. Because of the original, receding shop front and the water-thin canopies, the compact superstructure seems to float.
