Gerrit Verboonstraat, Schiedam

This office building was the straw-coloured flagship of the Hollandsche Algemeene Verzekeringsbank. Dudok designed it around 1935 for a prominent location along one of the most important entrances to Schiedam city centre and as an elegant front for the centuries-old Lange Haven canal.
