The 1921 villa in Park Zorgvliet is situated on a slope and was oriented to the south. The staff rooms were on the bottom floor next to the basement and garage. On the floor above, which was at street level on the north side, the main entrance, kitchen and various living quarters were placed. Small differences in height in the home create a strong spatial effect. Dudok collaborated with interior architect Hendrik Wouda.
