Corner Munnikerweg/ Lage Rijndijk, Leiderdorp

Together with architect Oud, Dudok designed a working-class neighborhood for the ‘Village interest’ association in Leiderdorp. The neighborhood had 24 homes, including a home furnishings store with a hairdressing salon. Some houses were slightly larger and more special, so that a lively whole was created. The neighbourhood, designed according to the garden city concept, was seen as an asset to the village.
